Making Memories
When I look back at memories of my kids from a few years ago I don’t think, “I wish he was smiling and looking directly at the camera.” Do I still love images like that? Of course, I definitely want those too. But my favorites are the ones that bring me back to our slow mornings of coffee and trucks when it was just the two of us hanging out at home. I love thinking of the sweet way he brought out each vehicle, lined up every truck, grabbed his favorite books, and sat next to me while we shared a rare moment of quiet to start our day. When I see pictures of my kids doing the things they love at age two, I am immediately brought back to that time. I see his baby cheeks, little hands, and hear his cute voice. These moments are passing by us so quickly it makes my heart break. I am so so glad that I’ve taken the time to preserve these times with photos.
I love being able to give that to my clients. A fun day at the park was just what this family of five needed. With an older sister and twin toddlers action was a must. They had so much fun swinging and sliding at the cutest playground. I can’t get enough of the polka dots and animal swings.
