When Should You Book Your Newborn Session?
One of the most common questions I receive is:
“When should I book my newborn photographer?”
The best time to reserve your session is during your second trimester or early in your third trimester.
For the portraits themselves, I typically photograph newborns between 7 and 21 days old. During this time, babies are still sleepy and naturally curl into those sweet newborn poses.
However, if your baby is already here, please don’t worry.
I often photograph older newborns too, and every stage of those early weeks is worth remembering.
What Should We Wear for Newborn Photos?
This is another question I hear all the time.
The good news? You don’t need to stress about outfits.
I have a carefully curated collection of beautiful dresses for moms and timeless pieces for babies that photograph beautifully. My goal is to make your session feel effortless, especially during those first few weeks of motherhood when getting dressed can feel overwhelming.

As a mom myself and after photographing newborns for years, I’ve seen it all. Feeding breaks, diaper changes, snuggles, and awake babies are all completely normal.
I never rush your baby.
Instead, I create a calm, relaxed environment where we follow their needs and work at their pace.
Some of the most beautiful images happen when babies are wide awake and looking right at the camera.

I provide wraps, blankets, and wardrobe options for your little one. Because I offer clothing for both mom and baby, there is very little you need to prepare.
My goal is for you to simply arrive and enjoy the experience.
